I would like to believe I am Joanna Gaines, Ree Drummond and Jen Hatmaker all rolled into one. However, I tend to channel more Lucille Ball than anything. I am a lover of Jesus, Jon and my crazy crew. I'm a reluctant runner and obsessed t-shirt collector. I adore all things southern but I desire to see all corners of the world. The blog is titled A Home Built on Beautiful Chaos because there are literally no other words to describe the life I live. My husband is a full time minister and I am a high school history teacher turned stay at home mom. My days consist of wrangling three wild ones who spend their time finding new ways to turn my hair gray. The crazy thing is I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I hope to make this space a place for me to dump all of the deep, theological thoughts that get jammed in my head all day long. Imagine Dumbledore siphoning off that silvery substance into the pensive. Yeah, it's kind of like that. I will probably throw in some pictures of our current renovation (cue Joanna) and loads of pictures of my precious little ones. I adore blogs for many reasons but mainly because it allows me a peek into other moms' lives and how they handle life's ups and downs.
